Performing an Ollie on a Tech Deck: Step-by-Step Guide

The ollie is one of the foundational tricks in the world of fingerboarding using a Tech Deck. To perfect your fingerboarding skills, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to execute an ollie on a Tech Deck.

Materials You’ll Need:

• A Tech Deck fingerboard
• A smooth, flat surface

Step 1: Hand Placement

1. Hold your Tech Deck with your index and middle fingers on the top side of the deck, and your thumb on the bottom side, near the tail. Your fingers should be positioned evenly along the width of the deck.

Step 2: Position the Tech Deck 2. Place your Tech Deck flat on a smooth and level surface, such as a table or desk. Ensure that the entire deck is in contact with the surface.

Step 3: Ready Stance 3. Begin in a ready stance, with your index finger positioned near the front bolts (front truck) of the Tech Deck, and your middle finger placed closer to the tail.
